The Challenge

Looye Kwekers, a leading family-owned tomato grower in the Benelux and Germany, was ready for the next phase of growth — tackling challenges like international expansion, sustainability, and product portfolio diversification. The ambition: evolve into a future-proof, purpose-driven brand while strengthening their premium position in retail.

Strategy & Design Approach

Through strategic workshops, we developed a clear brand strategy and business roadmap centred around the idea ‘The Future is Bright’. The mission: ensure generations can enjoy the taste of Looye tomatoes, combining sustainability with entrepreneurship. This strategy became the backbone for all brand expressions, internal culture, and business goals, resulting in the new payoff: ‘Taste for Tomorrow’.

Visual Identity

We refreshed the visual identity with an optimistic, forward-looking logo and a brighter colour palette. A distinctive brand arch was introduced as a unifying design element across packaging, retail, and communications. The crown jewel, the Honingtomaat, was visually repositioned to reinforce Looye’s masterbrand presence, creating a strong foundation for future portfolio expansion.

Results

The rebrand boosted Looye’s brand recognition in retail and clarified its premium positioning. From packaging design and retail presence to corporate materials and internal activations, the brand now reflects its entrepreneurial spirit, sustainability focus, and growth ambition. Looye is evolving into a love brand with a clear eye on the future — and the future is bright.

Identity

We created the whole identity based on the new set values.
From a basic letterhead and businesscards, all the way through brochures, banners, stand-design and infographics. Including a new take on their tone of visual.
