The Challenge

De Chocoladefabriek creates innovative snack concepts for retail, but needed a stronger way to present them—not just as products, but as full brand concepts that stand out on shelf and spark interest with retailers.

Strategic & Design Approach

Instead of focusing on single products, we developed complete visual concepts. Starting with quick sketches, we explored how brand strategy and design could shape positioning, storytelling, and shelf impact. This fast, visual approach made ideas tangible early on and opened up new directions for innovation.

Visual Identity

Each concept was translated into bold packaging design and mock-ups with clear hierarchy, strong storytelling, and distinctive visual styles. Designed to perform both in retail and exhibition spaces, the concepts combine trend-driven aesthetics with instant recognisability and stopping power.

Results

Presented at ISM 2026 in Cologne, the concepts stood out immediately. They attracted attention, sparked conversations, and helped generate strong new leads. A clear example of how design and brand strategy can turn ideas into real commercial opportunities.
